Legal Service
The legal service was not provided with funding this year as Swinburne University decided that it was not a necessary service. The Student Union disagrees with this decision and is currently in the process of securing a legal service for 2007. Keep an eye on this page for information on how to access the service once it is up and running.
In the meantime you can contact your publicly funded legal service through Fitzroy Legal Aid . You can also check out your local community legal service if Fitzroy is too far to travel.
Union members will have free access to this service. Non members will have to pay a fee which is yet to be determined.
Tressle Tables
You can book tressle tables on each campus free of charge for Union Members and $2.50 per table for non members.
BBQ's
You are able to book the use of our barbeques and we have two on each campus. We have one barbeque for vegetarian food and one for meat.
Sound System with Amp
You can book the sound system with amp from the Hawthorn Campus. Please ensure that you book well in advance as this service is well utilised by the Swinburne community.
